Peppermint is extracted from peppermint plant leaves through the steam distillation process. It has a distinctive, sharp and refreshing aroma, and scientific studies have shown that the menthol found in peppermint oil can improve cognitive performance, alertness and memory.

Basil essential oils are extracted from flowers, stems, seeds and leaves of the basil plant. Most of the oil content is obtained from the leaves. Basil is great for enhancing mental alertness and relieving headaches.
